He'd have the statistical best season of his career but let the team down in the playoffs.  I don't think the Vikings are going to fall for that one again.

It's too bad, s'rsly, you're too young to have never watched Bart Starr. The game was quite different then, but the man could absolutely ball. IIRC, one of things he started doing while Lombardi was his coach, and not many (if any) other QBs of that era did it, was attempt a long pass on 3rd and short. But the best thing about Starr is what a great person he was. Too bad both Favre and Rodgers turned out to be an a-hole (Favre) and a goofball (Rodgers). Meanwhile, Starr and his wife, Cherry, supported multiple fundraising ventures especially in the field of childhood cancer through the Starr Fund at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation. He was a real class act.

Starr still holds the record for winning percentage in NFL championships (since some of his were pre-merger/pre-Superb Owl): "For players with five or more playoff appearances, Bart Starr holds the record for the highest winning percentage, (. 900) and is second for the record for most championships (five NFL titles plus two Super Bowl wins vs. AFL teams) to Tom Brady, who has won seven Super Bowls."

You don't have to get knocked out to have your bell rung/concussion/CTE.

There is no way he's playing with a full deck, not even close to it.

I'm a Texans fan, so I can beat that.

We recently had a young QB with potential to be one of the best for most of the next 2 decades, and he was such a tool we still wanted him gone.

I am still waiting for the grand reveal that Rodgers has been coordinating with Ashton Kutcher for the last 5 years or so as a new experimental "real life Punk'd" where influential people become deep fake caricatures of themselves to stir up controversy.

He has a very unfortunate combination of intelligence without proper education, and a counter-culture don't trust authority upbringing (dads a chiropractor for crying out loud) so he thinks he's being open minded and into learning, but he's already taken legitimate sources off the table so he just spends his legitimate curiosity and intellect exploring the warren of dumb nonsense out there claiming to be "the real truth". That's how you end up being a very dumb smart guy.
