is that "break even" before or after all the additional billions he poured into it AFTER the purchase that he claimed saved it from bankruptcy.  b/c if its after thats some really creative re-defining of "break even"

Twitter is like a kid's lemon-aid stand that is profitable only if you ignore what the parent spent on it.

Could be true.
Could be false.
It's a privately held company - he doesn't have to tell the truth about it.
He can say anything he wants.

Twitter is "now trending to breakeven."

Looks like a bit of a typo there.  He meant to put a comma and a space between the last two words.

Trump style breakeven. Breaks even when you refuse to pay out all your bills.

Yeah, I'm gonna need the receipts on that.

We spent less than $44 billion this year

All it takes is $11/month and the world's richest man gives you a digital checkmark. What a great deal!

And next year, it's mass production for self-driving robo cybertrucks.  Funding is secured!

trending to breakeven?

You mean the expenses are less now that they've dropped +4000 employees, and that if the expenses keep dropping at the same rate (they're gonna run out of employees...), the possibility exists that Twitter may run in the black - something that it's only done in two of the last ten years?

Yeah, not going to believe that until you show how sales of blue checkmarks is making up for the billions you've lost in ads. Yeah, you cut a bunch of staff and refused to pay your bills but the numbers still don't add up.

After firing everyone, all the money coming in the door nearly equals all the money going out the door.  That's not success.

I'd be rich if I stopped paying my bills, too.

Is this the guy who JUST went to court because he tweeted 'Funding secured' when funding wasn't really secured?

And testified under oath that his excuse was "Just because I tweet something does not mean people believe it or will act accordingly"?

Yeah. I don't believe his tweets.

Depends on how many debt holders there are?....he may have to file a 10-k?

Any corporate financial types care to weigh in?

I really want to watch the auction when they start selling off the physical assets.

I'd bet that the sink that elmo carried in goes for a million or three.  Some restaurant will try and snag it for chic decor, but will get outbid by some neversaydie fanboi.

Most conservative humor is just inside jokes that they learned by repetition.  It doesn't translate outside of the cult. If you hung out with Charlie Kirk and Ben Shapiro, you'd be on the floor right now.

FIG. 1. Morgan Stanley after seeing Twitter's latest financials.

/"trending to breakeven" isn't "breaking even", boyo, and Enron's running out of ways to cut costs and raise revenue

Well you see, revenue was down 70% in January, but it's probably still not down 70% in February from what it was in January! Soon the line will level out, then obviously because everything is a bell curve, it will begin going up! LIKE STONKS!
