He's Gen-X.

But whatever. We get overlooked again.

So, who's the Gen Z guy? Tony Hawk was born in 1958.

Or you can donate $30 directly without half of it going to his pocket.

"Half of the proceeds from the autographed photos will go to Nichols' memorial fund "to help his family out, and to build a memorial skate park in his name, honoring his love for skateboarding," according to Thorne's website."

Asshole. Give his family the full amount and build the new skate park on your own dime.

There I go. Late at night. Double asshole. Half the funds go to a skate park and the other half go to his pocket if I'm reading this right. Eff off.

Double down

It's a really great look

Also try reading the article and you might understand that Tony Hawk isn't keeping a dime

You're not. Tony's half is donated, the other half is BMX-guy's.
But I'm sure you'll find another reason to shiat on him for redirecting some money to the cause (which has nothing to do with the autograph cards by the way).

Seriously. Unless subby is 109 years old, I think there has to be some kind of attempt at a joke here?

Pretty sure you are reading this wrong, he did the photos and partnership with someone and he gets half the proceeds therefore he can donate half the proceeds which is 100% of what he would have gotten for the photos.

Tony Hawk is a fantastic human. I'm X and know he's older than me, but he was the reason I built a halfpipe in my backyard.

How much are you giving?  You could always fix the discrepancy by matching his donation.

Yup, everything I've heard about him is positive.  Genuine human.

Skateboarding and giving money away to build a skatepark and memorial.

Um, Tony Hawk is not Gen Z.

Oh wait, you're a troll. Nevermind.

Tony Hawk deserves Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Been nothing but a positive influence to kids since he was a kid and he's getting up there in age but still doing his thing ya know.

I keep hearing that he's a decent guy.
He's also one of the few people that have defined their sport.
Mohammed Ali also comes to mind.

Some of the things I hear about him aren't so fantastic, in fact they are down right ordinary. Things like "he broke his leg." and "He's 55."

Like really only 80% of what I hear about him is fantastic.

$30 photos, limited to 1000 copies, with half the money going toward Tyre Nichols stuff.

Half of $3000, assuming all the photos sell. $1500. Why, that's nearly enough for half a coffin! Should really help Nicholas's family and get that skate park built.

Tony Hawk is worth $150 million. This is ass.

This is not ass, your math skills are ass. You're off by a 10x.

And you've entirely missed the point. Tony Hawk is a wealthy celebrity. He can
A) Cut a big check and walk away
B) Involve his massive collection of fans to show direct support for both this family and this community.

1 wealthy celebrity showing support, or 1 celebrity with 1000 regular people, all showing support. Which has a greater impact?

He is giving away the entirety of the money that he's getting (he gets 50% and he's donating all of that) and bringing lots of attention to a specific cause.

But people are still gonna biatch about it

Poptart? Like a fakie ollie where you pop off the coping with your wheels to hangup? Pretty sure Tony Hawk can do those in his sleep.
