Another fun fact: The Seattle Space Needle was part of a team with the St. Louis Space Needle, but due to a structural defect, the St. Louis Needle bent over and the rotating restaurant at the top screwed itself into the ground.  They covered this up by calling an arch.  It's the biggest scandal in architecture history.
