It wasn't, but stalkers turned it into one. It is creepy and I would consider it about the worst song by The Police.

This is one of their of their best and fits the thread nicely.




Love songs of the 80's were nuts but it can be attributed to the rapid increase in divorce rates in the 1970's. It's that whole collective unconscious thing.
