Britain needs to pull it head out of its ass and get back to being the Britain its people can relate to.

At this point it's clear all the instability in the West was a PooTin plot, from Brexit, to Yellow Vesters in France and Holland, to MAGA Trump Cult Delusionists, to Canada Truck Convoys...all were accelerated  by PooTin's Internet Spy Center. Her story will be lapped up by the gullible though. The lowering taxes was never the issue, the issue was that they were UNFUNDED tax cuts.

It's a bit like getting a million pound mortgage (national debt) then going to the bank and asking them for a car loan for a bugatti and telling them you you're quitting your job as a banker and going to work full time at mcdonalds. Do you think the bank is going to give you the loan?

That's essentially what happened here, she said she was going to drastically cut government income yet made no plan for how to pay for the debt we needed to take out to cover day to day operations. Governments regularly cut taxes, but they cover it by explaining where spending cuts would be made to balance the budget and forecast how much debt would be needed and where it would come from. Heck even Trump's government did this.

The fact she's trying to gaslight people and suggest that somebody undermined her when she was doing something no british government has ever done shows how disingenuous she is and what a danger she is to our nation.

She did everything the Tories have dreamed of doing when given a massive majority for the last 30 or so years. Unfortunately for her, the triple disruptions of Brexit, Covid, and the Ukraine war made such a plan completely untenable.

You can't slash taxes on one end and spend like a drunken sailor on the other unless you're USA or China. Small countries that attempt this see their debt rating and currencies destroyed, as she soon learned. So yeah, she's right she never had a chance to push these things through, but it's because she picked the absolute worst time to push for them.
