And somehow the Wolves end up with more players tossed. I can see a somewhat flimsy argument for Prince, but not McDaniels.

That's because it's allowed. If basketball rules were the same as hockey, there would be bloodshed in every NBA game, and if that alternate reality existed, and NHL fans tried to make the argument that hockey players were the most badass fightin' athletes, they'd be laughed at because those short pussies are allowed to where padded gloves and headgear.
