That is objectively not the case, which is kind of the point.  Nazis need scapegoat minorities, those minorities need to be visible but the smaller a percentage of the population they actually are, the better (so they can't fight back with electoral power directly or by canvassing for allies or sympathy).

Trans people are a vanishingly small minority, to the tune of a couple tenths of a percent at the high end, and inherently fairly visible in both the literal sense of not being able to 'pass' in most cases and the more relevant political sense of being already the focus of enough media attention for people to know what they are.

Technically card-carrying Nazis like Desantis are a minority, too, but a much larger one: around 10% of the electorate explicitly identifies themselves as such (e.g. "Christian nationalist", "Alt right", and other synonyms, obviously the actual word "Nazi" isn't used because the etymology contains 'socialist' and ironically American Nazis are too far right to go for that even insincerely).

This is why Desantis' political party went after trans people first the last time they rose to power, too, it's what their first big book-burning event when they took control of Germany was all about.  It served their political purposes fairly well except for the minority being so small that they actually kinda successfully murdered all of them in short order and had to fall back on Jews and Gypsies as the scapegoat minority.
