I'm honestly shocked that my country is taking the lead on this. Ell done Albo. It wouldn't have happened under the Coalition.

Crikey! First medical cannabis nationwide, now this.

Though I imagine it will be a damn sight harder to obtain than the "Ow my back hurts, a panadol didn't work, so puff puff give plz" scheme we have for MC.

Mark my words: daily microdoses in the 10-20mg range of 3,4-Methylenedioxyamphetamine will one day be gold standard for mood management in bipolar and related disorders.

Marcos P: Microdosing shrooms is the bomb

As someone reading this on shrooms, they have appropriate use cases and protocols, but they are no more 'magical' than CBD outside of those use cases

You feel good because you expect to.

I strongly dislike how they frame PTSD as requiring drugs for the remainder of your life.  You can go fark right off with that shiat.

""The conditions for which these drugs might be used [post-traumatic stress disorder and treatment-resistant depression] are currently conditions for which you're basically destined to a lifetime of drug use. Whereas the MDMA particularly is used to facilitate psychotherapy, only for a few doses."

1) Can confirm this sentence is correct as written. I'm not hearing about many vets being cured of PTSD. Much like bipolar disorder, it *can* be a life sentence. This means meds on the days you breathe.

2) I've conducted research well beyond the MDMA trials, specific to it's first metabolite, MDA (ecsatsy without the meth in front of the amp). Months-long trials using the Phase 2 MDMA trials for basic dose calculations for bodyweight, daily microdoses in the 10-30mg subthreshold range (psychocactive effects not perceptible) were found to be lifechanging in terms of mood management with bipolar disorder.

Is there a kind of anti-placebo, like it does nothing but you expect it to make it worse so it does?

Wait, it's the nocebo effect.

Medication is not a requirement to manage PTSD.  You're typing like a pill hawking psychiatrist who gets kickbacks from the medical community.

More like a lifelong mental patient, but you keep humping your pillowmate in between goalpost movements
