No amount of proof will satisfy the covidiots, because any evidence debunking a conspiracy is itself proof of the conspiracy, and any lack of evidence supporting a conspiracy is itself proof of the conspiracy. The anti-vax conspiracy theorists have decided that Hamlin died from the vaccine and has been replaced by a body double, and nothing will dissuade them from this delusion.

I always loved listening to Art Bell on long night drives. Sometimes the guests/callers would get a little over top or you could tell that they might have a screw loose but for the most part it was fun.

Yeah, I mean, Art Bell was like "spooky radio show ghost stories".   It was kinda an interactive Weekly World News.  Some probably took it "seriously", but, they were the scant number of people who also passed around snail mail newsletters about wacko things.

Then the internet came, and now they all connect instantly.

We get blasted with it constantly in the 24 hour news cycle, but we don't take full stock of what a huge pile of stinking shiat it is. hiatting at these 1 by 1 is a fool's errand. Make conservatives face these things together: "so you believe that some people have the time and coordination to carry out these hundreds of massive conspiracies at once?" Independently they are implausible, together they insanely contradictory and beyond anyone's wildest fantasies.

Right, that's the biggest flaw in most conspiracy theories - the sheer number of people that would need to be involved.  Humans are terrible at keeping secrets, and the more of them involved the less likely it is to remain a secret.

This guy I know says he was wondering about the vaccine now as a guy from the company he works for died from cardiac arrest after getting it and two guys had cardiac arrest but survived after getting the vaccine before going into the military.

I think it is all unrelated to the vaccine as I gotten four doses including the updated booster in the past two years and I feel fine. *Knocks on wood*.

Damn superstitious me.
