Mental note, make sure and tell someone about this and get word to the Minnesota Vikings.

/I plan to not need burying for a long while.
//I plan to continue to be let down by the Vikings.

Meh, I've been hearing this joke for 30 years with different teams as the subject.

Better not be Cousins. If you're supposed to be 6 feet deep he'll probably only get a few feet.

Harry Wagstaff: Meh, I've been hearing this joke for 30 years with different teams as the subject.

And, if the legends are true, this joke originated even earlier than that when Union Journeyman used to say it to their apprentices.

In all fairness though, much respect to a joke that can transcend the test of time and subjects like this one does.

As a Sabres fan:

Is it better to cheer for a team that continually sucks so they never give you hope before they let you down?

Or is it better to get the repeated thrill of hope from a team before the world crushes your spirit again and again.

/no goal, dammit
