"For real hardcore collectors - especially those that have disposable income - you can get way more money ... than you would imagine."  Wow, that is really honest, Mark.

Also, article writer, is Mark Hamill signing them as Luke Skywalker, no, then LUKE SKYWALKER ISN'T SIGNING shiat. A real person is doing something cool to help people stay alive.

Mark Hamill continues to be one of the best human beings of my lifetime.  He's super down to earth, ridiculously famous, cares about things that non-celebrities care about...we need say more people like him in the world.

They've been going after Luke for years, he's been an outspoken liberal for years, One of the million reasons it mist suck to be a republican, is they're actually right about Hollywood. Actors are overwhelmingly liberal. All they have is what, Tim Allen, Kevin Sorbo, & Scott Baio? Oof. Its no surprise though. Colbert said Life has a liberal bias & hes kinda right, but I dont think life is politically active. The reason we have that perspective, is because unlike republicans, liberals deal with the facts as they are, and are willing to change their minds or adjust if new info is presented. They flow through life. Adjusting & evolving. Republicans are constantly fighting life, because they want the world to go back in time 70 years. Hell some want to go back to the pre-civil war days

Does Ukraine really need any more money? Their entire GDP in 2021 was $200 billion and their government estimates that it fell 30% in 2022 thanks to the invasion, which would put them at around $140 billion if my maths are right. On the other side of the ledger, they received well over $100 billion in aid in 2022. So, from a straight money perspective, they're sitting at $240 billion this year, a cool 20% increase over their pre-war GDP.

What I'm trying to say is that they don't need more cash. They need more weapons, and that's only something that western governments can provide.

Anything that makes conservatives unhappy has to be a cynical ploy. Republicans are very obsessed with their own feelings to the point that someone doing something thoughtful must be a swipe at their flimsy crumbling egos.

I hope Hunter Biden lets Mark Hamill borrow his massive trouser hog and then Mark crafts a giant cocksaber with it and proceeds to dick-whip every red hat out there.  Of course, giving Hunter back his Cocktimus Prime with a grateful thanks.  Because Hamill is a farking gentleman.

I think Kevin Smith might sue me this time.

My wife is still on Twitter, and she's said the exact same thing many times. Everything from stuff like this to pet adoption, and he backs his words up with actions or donations. He just seems like a genuinely good guy who is grateful for what he's accomplished and cool enough to make fun of himself.

Would it be possible to buy one to send to some random unit on the front lines in Ukraine for inspiration? Might be a nice way to top off a care package.

That's the problem: one was a completely fabricated fantasy based on technology that didn't exist.

The other was a series of films.

They need far more than weapons.

Are you aware that they can also use cash to buy Generators?
And Emergency food rations?
And warm boots?
And blankets?
And cars?
And gasoline?
And shelters?
And radio equipment?
And Satellite communications?
And journalists?
And Cameras?
And seeds?
And tractors?
And lifestock?
And international lobbyists?
And logistics?
And <insert a brazillian other things they could use>

/International aid is fantastic, but it can still be faster and/or more efficient to have cold hard cash in-hand to order what you want TODAY to receive next week instead of hoping someone else will hook you up next month, or next year, or "whenever".

My favorite version of Hamill.

Yes, he was the dub actor in the first game. I love his Joker, but Majima is just cooler.
