It looks like what a 9-year-old would draw for their first truck.

That has taken since 2019 to build?

Because the angles are all wrong, the design is stupid simple, and stainless cars get dirty fast.

I'm not sure how the lights are legal on the back. Those are some tiny tiny tail lights, and they are no where near the height of normal ones.

Even if it was well built it would still be ugly.

It'll sell well to camo-clad cosplayers who buy tactical chewing gum, tactical floor mats, tactical windshield washer fluid, tactical phone chargers, and other useless faux-militarized crap.

The BEST part of the broken humiliation is that he was dumb enough to do it AGAIN and the AGAIN the window broke.

I'd bet money some engineer TRIED to tell him not to do it.

Elon and his design team must have been influenced by the 1977 movie, Damnation Alley:

As ugly as they were, Pontiac Aztecs were actually quite useful, and were much more fitting of the "utility vehicle" label than most SUVs. So you're even more right than you though you were.

When is the NHTSA going to start regulating the height of these vehicles?

It's because of all those angles, dude.  No one at Tesla had access to a protractor.

Myk-House of El: This vehicle will never see mass production.

It kinda has to, doesn't it?  By hook or by crook, this thing has to ship or else there will be a stockholder revolt.  It will probably be pretty average, but the fanbois will hump it like an Apple product.  It won't be a smash hit, but it will give Elmo a moment of glory.

It's interesting because there's a reported 1.5 million pre-orders for the thing, but they are not binding and easily backed out of.  Everyone else is beating this to market with their own e-pickup.  I see a limited run for folks actually serious about it, but I'd be shocked if we got more than 5% of those pre-orders actually followed up on.  With Elon doing what he's doing, burning capital, linking all his companies financially in a way, he could actually get shareholders to oust him and this project either goes away or is radically re-imagined in such a way as what we've seen doesn't represent the final product at all.

I also have doubts about it meeting all the federal regulations required, but that's a different story.

God DAMN that's even uglier out in the daylight. It looks like a knockoff dollar store toy car scaled up to full size.

Also, you will find no more pathetic loser on this earth than dudes who tag @ElonMusk and @T$LA in every sycophantic knob-slobbering tweet.
