Grew up in Philly. One is an Eagles fan, the other roots for the Cowboys. The dumb one.

This story is farking sad. Identical twins adopted out separately. I really hope this sort of thing is no longer allowed.

Seperated at birth, so they'd never bonded. Insisting they be adopted together has a good chance of causing them to never be adopted.

I feel what you're feeling, though.

But they shared a womb, likely some time in the orphanage together, and they share the exact same DNA. And while insisting they go together would have indeed narrowed the search I wonder how hard they even tried. If the adoptive parents knew about the twins and decided they only wanted one then they deserve some shame too

There's something very unique about twins in general that is even more intense with identical twins. To be separated like that and never know and then find out at 16 only to wait another 30 years before reconnecting must be some wild shiat but who knows, maybe they are incredibly balanced and healthy people. I honestly hope that's the case. They look happy together in the picture :)

How dare you try to put shame on the people who adopted these guys as newborns. Who the f*ck do you think you are to say your intolerant quiet part out loud?!?! Especially when you'd have rather seen a wrench thrown into their potential adoptability.
Yikes squared.

/ mother was a twin
// the boys born 10 months after my dad were twins
/// yeah I know, Irish triplets
