Eldest is doing a research masters having to do with parasites and proteins and genetically-engineered mice (these ones are susceptible to asthma from dust mites) and was describing the approved "humane" ways of dispatching experimental subjects once they've been subjected to too much misery.  Apparently in real life, little bunny foo foo picks up field mice and bashes their heads on a table.

/no idea if the asthmatic mice are unionized... well, by one pronunciation I suppose they are.
