Maybe it's just me, but if 3 guys failed to carjack/rob me and I took out all 3, I'm not going to bury them under equipment in the basement of an abandoned building where a bunch of people are squatting. I'd call the news and brag.

To me, it looks like they were set up and executed. They probably looked for an open mic set, met some women who thought they were rich rappers and set them up for a robbery from some real killers.

If they met in jail it's because they accomplished the feats and were subsequently jailed due to enough evidence of the accomplishment.

I'd guess more likely, they probably encountered some people one or more of them had crossed in the past.

I feel bad for their mamas.  These guys did some bad shiat in the past, and I don't know if they were tryin to get their lives together for real, or if they were in the thick of it.  But I feel really bad for their mamas.
