Former President Trump on Thursday would not commit to endorsing the eventual Republican nominee for president in 2024 if it's not him.

Oh please run 3rd party in 2024. Split the vote between R, D, and Trump.  I'll take that vote distribution.

Trump won't commit to endorsing eventual 2024 GOP nominee

This is nearly a verbatim headline repeat of 2016, and he caved even then, long before getting the nomination.

Ah yes.  I'm sure he will put character and integrity of the candidate before party.

Be even better if he endorsed a bunch of 3rd party House and Senate candidates, but I don't think there would be enough time to establish an actual 3rd party by then. If he did that in 2024, it would be as an independent, not 3rd party.

The only reason Trump isn't already the nominee is because the nomination process is RIGGED!

So join me in boycotting by staying home on election day.

He probably could and would try to do it, but knowing his track record he'll half ass it and fail to do so legally, thus setting up yet another protracted legal battle that his defenders will swear shouldn't affect the integrity of the race.

According to a recent poll I saw, 28% of Republicans stated they will vote for Trump as a 3rd party over the actual Republican nominee.

And that right there is why elected GQPers are terrified of crossing him.

Just over 1/4 of under 1/2 of voters - about 12% - are hardcore Dump cultists who will drink the poisoned flavoraid even after realizing it's poisoned.

And if even a fraction of those dipshiats stay home at Dump's command, that's a guaranteed L for a huge number of GQPers in gerrymandered districts.

I will seriously farking laugh if one of these these scenarios happens:

1) Trump loses the GOP nomination to Dipshiat in fl, and he choses to stay home, and his follows chose to as well, thus Dipshiat and the GOP get crushe din 24 and the dems hold the senate, retake the house and keep the white house

2) Trump loses the GOP nomination, then says 'i hate losing it was rigged' and this splinters the gop, and he causes takes more then just his hardcore to stay home, and we see he dems win in a land slide.

3) Trump loses the GOP nomination, says 'it was rigged/gets mad' and decides to form the Trump party.  This splits the gop votes and the dems win.

4) Trump wins the nomination, but it was a bloody fight and he loses the white house

of course trump could win the nomination and still barely win the white house.. but i seriously doubt it.  if trump loses in 24.. he will do more damange to the gop then anyone ever could.

Oh yes subby, they all deserve it. Here is, FTFA, one of the "good ones" - my former governor, Larry Hogan. A "moderate".

Trump's comments came shortly after former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R), a Trump critic who has said he is weighing a 2024 bid of his own, told Hewitt he does not believe Trump will be the GOP nominee but that he would support whoever the nominee is.

HE'LL STILL SUPPORT TRUMP. It's all a farking act, everything is a farking act to them. They have one and only one principle - "I should be in charge of everyone, so I can hurt who I want, because fark you."

If that wasn't true they wouldn't still call themselves a "conservative" or a "republican" at this point. They'd have run screaming for the hills by now. Everyone who hasn't has been showing you who they are for years - greedy sociopaths who will turn anyone at all into hog feed so long as they can make some money off it.

.... and here we are with a Republican majority in the house.

I thought we were done with these jerkface Republicans, when Obama beat the snot out of McCain and Romney.
Clearly I was wrong then, and they've only gained traction since then.  It's not a good place to be.

Just look in TFA, and see that he confirmed for the jillionth time that he hopes (ooh pwetty pwease) that Trump won't be the candidate, but he'll still stand behind him if he is.

Hogan is just as bad as the rest. He's better at keeping his mouth shut for the quiet parts - that's literally it. No principles, just greed and sociopathy.

Sadly i see the 24 gop nomination going one of three ways.

1) Desantos has a Jeb election, basicly he doesn;t translate to the national stage and Trump owns his ass, Trump wins.

2) Desatos does ok and beats trump.  (Trump 3rd party, indy, stay home or he 'crowns' ron)

3) Trump and Desatos fight so much that a dark horse slips between and wins.  (Agnry Trump)

The GOP is Trumps till hes gone sadly.

Doesn't matter if some magical R shows up and decides that this divisive state cannot continue, and wins the nom - vote like Trump will be the nominee and likely to win - no matter what farking projections everyone says.  Even if Trump actually dies in a massive heart attack on stage at a campaign event - act like he's still alive and VOTE.  Vote everyone who has an R after his name out of office.

My prediction for what will happen regarding the GOP 2024 Presidential primary.

Trump will not do very well. He might pull a few states but overall his vote counts will be way down from previous elections and will ultimately not be the nominee. Along the way he will saddle his opponents with childish nicknames and epithets like "Back Stabbin' Ron" or something similarly unoriginal.

He will complain that votes were rigged, that there was mail-in ballot fraud, but he will also blame the primary process and assert that he shouldn't have to even have to compete against another Republican because the last election was stolen and he should a free do-over because of it.

When the eventual nominee is chosen he won't support them, he'll continue to whine on his Truth Social site in his underwear at Mar-A-Lago and call them the same childish nickname he called them during the primary. He'll ask for donations to challenge the primary results and his continued fight to overturn 2020, to which his supporters (who would eat their own shiat if he told them to do so) will happily flood his account with donations.

How the election itself will go is anyone's guess but that's how I foresee the GOP primary going.

Trump is probably going to lose badly in the primary. Republicans talk a big game but in reality they know the only thing that matters is power and they've already sensed weakness in Trump. The only question is, if Trump runs third party does he get enough votes to matter? I certainly hope so.
