I've been to Subway once in the last eight years. Used to love it. Jimmy John's doesn't have the selection, but much higher quality and FAST service.

For those who haven't been in a while, Subway has gotten much less stingy with the meat as of late, you get like twice the amount you used to. Get the Subway club, it's three different meats, mine was so full they had trouble folding it in half at the end.

Not in my state they don't.  All the subways here are franchises and don't take coupons or deals.  Then again, all the other restaurants here are like that.  Arbys messed up my orders so many times corporate sent me fancy coupons and they refused to take them.

I stopped going to Jimmy John's when they stopped carrying sprouts.

Well I still swing by sometimes to get day old bread if I'm planning on making steak sandwiches.

Wish my town had an actual bakery.

The Subway within walking distance of my home closed last year. Now, whenever I want to run out for a quick bite, I'm forced to get better food just a block away.

I hadn't been there for many years, but tried the Subway Spicy Italian recently. Much better than I remembered. I also have a Jimmy John's and a Jersey Mike's in the neighborhood. They seem priced about the same, and each has their high and low points. Finding working discount codes for any of them is a PITA. The Subway web site is nonfunctional if the local store is closed and you want to look at their menu. Why they would do that on purpose baffles me.

Same here, The minute that it was exposed that they were using rubber in their bread, I vowed never to eat there again, and I've stuck to that vow...
