Lanny and Randy were great back in the day as a tag team.  Lanny was the intellectual, well-spoken straight man to Randy's batshiat insane maniac.  This was one of the best promos of all time.  Just watch Lanny keep his composure around the 3:41 mark when the cocaine kicks in on Randy.

Len is the best kind of dork.  Watched one of his recent movies a year or so ago, the one with leo fong.  His crap movies aren't so bad you're groaning, they're more the kind of cheese that harkens back to 30 years ago.  And he's a legit nice guy, always responds in kind to messages.

Now that I'm older and know more about the business of wrestling, that match seems like a marker of just how well-respected and liked he must have been in the locker room.  You could never put a belt on a character like him in the WWF of that time.  But giving him a W over Hogan on Saturday Night's Main Event... that was pretty awesome.
