The Golden Pig, located out in the boonies of Hillbilly Hell Western Pennsylvania, has some great kimchi pancakes.  I've tried making them at home, but mine just aren't as good.

alternately, I learned HK style, which is: buy a packet of frozen parantha and fry them up with scrambled egg and you favorite fresh vegetals and proteins.

hunh, that's not too far off the usual route west for visiting homeland Ohio, so I'll definitely aspire to keep it in mind!

I think we hates the idea of treating an ultra-premium meat that way.  But honestly, if he's gonna do it, I bet it's incredible.

Kimchi is the best condiment on the planet. I can't even eat a hotdog without it.

Maple syrup just wouldn't taste good on those pancakes.
I'm thing Karo or maybe blackstrap molasses.

Wagyu is bred and ideally raised to have delicious marbling of fat in the muscle.  Fat = Flavor. The good steaks are pink.

While ground wagyu is delicious, you can take practically any kind of meat and grind it up to the same fat ratio and it's also gonna pop.

So we shouldn't hate ground wagyu, but rather the restaurant that tries to mark up their burgers just because it's ground  wagyu instead of regular beef and a bit of tallow for flavor like normal places.

Korean seafood pancake is the bomb.
I haven't learned to make one because the best Korean place in Vancouver is 3 blocks from my house. When I feel like cheating on my diet, that's definitely my go to.

One of my favorite sushi places does a waygu aburi. They also do a hot stone wagu where you cook the slices on the stone on a hot plate at the table. These dishes are awesome.
I had wagu sliders once. Totally not worth it.

Nothing wrong with quality ingredients used correctly.
We hate the marketing of bullshiat.

Hmm, 30 minutes from Star Lake or an extra 25 minutes on my way to PPG Arena, figure it's worth it?

So I saw this the other day. And it reminded me it's been too long since I've made pad gaprao. Remedied that tonight.

I did one tour in Korea, and regret that I didn't start appreciating the local food until halfway through. I love it now and make Korean dishes often.

I did Osan AB then Camp Casey. Camp Red Cloud looked like a paradise as compared to Casey.
