This board really is like 4chan/sp when it comes to great players.   My rule of thumb for any sport I haven't paid much attention to is this:   who is the most commonly hated player?   That is going to be the best active player, in general, on practically every sports board.   So things are looking pretty good for Tom at this point.   Lebron is holding his own in basketball as well.

Very handy.

Not sure why the stupid tag, obviously he did his greatest work and spent nearly all his career with NE, and the sign-for-a-day thing to retire with your primary team is pretty common.  For those who still go with stupid, look at it this way: you get to combine your hatred of Brady with your hatred of the Patriots into a single Voltron of hate.

As a long time NE sportsball fan, I'd like to see a statue outside Foxboro, the one day retirement deal, and all that nonsense.  I don't blame the guy for pursuing a paid career elsewhere.  I don't blame him Patriots for giving up on him a few years early.

As a human, Tom Brady is trash and I was glad he left my team, and I don't want him to have a statue.  I don't care about his love life and family life.  Absent abuse, that's none of my business.  That's just standard people living stuff.

I care that he stood by, promoted and profited from his cancer patient scamming buddy.  I care that he chose to remain attached to Trump and the beauty pageant judging life.

Overall, it just doesn't matter what I care.  Vermin win at times, not much I can do about that.
