Mr. Zimmerman and the DCCC divided all of their opposition research on Santos's stated political positions and virtually ignored everything related to his personal background. They were rewarded for doing exactly what this Onion article suggests they should have done with a resounding defeat and tons of complaints from the public and Farkers like us that they blew it by ignoring all the huge red flags in his personal background.
