No, it's easier. And stupider. You have to sit through whatever pap they have inflated the piece with to hit whatever run time metric they were targeting. Of course, written pieces often do the same thing, but you can spot the fluff and skip it. "Oh, here's the part where they talk about everybody's feelings, let's scroll down a bit and get back to what sort of equipment they are using to remove the corpses from the rubble." Videos on social media are engineered to make you watch 20 minutes of content for 30 seconds of information.

Hard? No. Time-consuming and pointless compared to being able to read whatever salient point we're meant to be gathering, needlessly replicating time and effort on the part of everyone who might otherwise want to participate in the thread? Yes.

Watching a video is good in terms of discussion of actual news when it provides context and detail, like footage of police murdering unarmed men, but even then a transcript is usually better to look at unless you need to visually confirm something. When it's something that could be explained by a line or two of text to detail what a comedian is asking random people in a vox pop stunt, not useful.

Wasn't much of a quiz, but had he asked me (I'm fairly white) what's the blackest thing I have ever done, I saw NWA, 2 Short and LL Cool J in concert, in Oakland CA in 1989. I was one of only like five white guys there.

We used to sing the Black national anthem at my extremely white church around MLK Day when I was growing up, so I can do the first verse of it. ("Lift Ev'ry Voice and Sing")

I was given up for adoption at birth by a cocaine addicted mother.

Just call me "Old King Coal".

It's actually pretty good, you should watch it.

I'm white AF, so I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have done very well here.

My two best options are

- Snuck into a Goodie Mobb Concert in a field in Macon Georgia
- Got pulled over in Mountain Brook for not having a nice enough car

Video blocked in Canada. Would a Farker transcribe the questions (a reward of limited-time TF membership will be offered)?

Back in the early 70s, my girlfriend(white suburban chick) used the N word.
I took her to a concert
Earth, Wind, and Fire.
Only two people who were not of color in the arena.
And, since they served beer, I would get up to get one, every so often, leaving her alone. And I would have to pee, leaving her alone.
While I was gone, guys would hit on her, because, she was 17 and stacked.
Not just old dangerous looking guys. Young guys, with game.
And for once in her life, she was the center of attention, from guys she never thought about, her with 0 exit strategic skills, and probably at least one of them got her thinking about possibilities.
Anyway, I haven't heard her say that word in almost 50 years.

Has nobody learned any lessons from Jay Walking with Jay Leno?

Americans will say anythhing with a TV camera on them. That's why Donald Trump  is so popular with the Nimrod voters.

I am currently watching Hughley' Black History Month street interviews on Youtube (CTV Comedy Channel, on my RICO TV). Remember this is the Golden Age of workarounds.

Or do I mean reach-arounda.

/ His questions are embarassing for black and white people alike. Stay woke out there!
