He has a house and beach house. Not all that uncommon in the area.

He originally had the house he bought when he was elected to the Senate in 1974, and built a house outside of Wilmington in 1996. In 2016/17 he sold his original house and got a house on the beach in Rehoboth, the Delaware version of the Jersey Shore.

That's it.

After he left office as VP they rented a house in Virginia then gave up the lease.

They took "some materials and handwritten notes for further review", and $5 said they're making sure that it's stuff that doesn't need to be retroactively classified because of you combine that info with other documents, you could tell a Secret story from unclassified materials. It's what got Hillary hemmed up quite a bit with the ol' Exchange server.

It's not really a huge deal, but I also have no idea how you prevent that. If it's not classified when it goes into the filing cabinet in the study, I don't know how a counter intel team could chase down every thread on physical documents that have been retroactively classified.

Again, contrast with certain other people who'd be losing their damn mind if DOJ took a paper without a classification from their bedroom document box.

Too bad Biden can't win with anyone who thinks he even did something wrong. He is the President. His residences are supposed to have all sorts of documents in them, and by "all sorts" I really means all sorts, Top Secret and classified or whatever. He wouldn't be doing his job if he wasn't scribbling bits of Top Secret info on his napkin while he eats nachos and watches football his gradnkids play Madden 2023, since god only knows when presidents think of something important or get the wording right on their memos/letters.

But to announce that they found no documents now is just pointless. Suspcious wankers will say that he had months to sanitize and move documents, between the FBI's first search of his garage, and this latest foray.

This is no different than the lies about Hillary Clinton that were spread by Fox News in 2016.
