I remember using a Selenium Macro to fill in those godforsaken Workday time/hour sheets, because entering it in manually took so freaking long waiting for the ajax...

Strange how they've gone from "Nobody wants to work!" to "You get laid off! You get laid off! You get laid off!...".

I think those were different groups of people.

Low paying service/retail places struggled to attract employees. These layoffs, while they are getting a ton of press, are almost universally big tech type companies with high paid workers. Most of them have had record growth and huge profits too...even with layoffs many are just returning to 2021 or even 2022 staffing levels.

I'm just here to say I have used Workday at two different jobs and it is absolute garbage. Have their UI folks ever used another piece of software?

There will be 85,000 H1-b visas given out in 2023.  That's means there are 85,000 tech jobs Americans won't work.

On March 1, another 85,000 for 2024 will open in the visa lottery. That's another 85,000 jobs Americans won't do.

Came for Concur; SAP counts since they also wrote that demon software.
