Sucks that we are seeing the rise of monopolies again, now in new industries.

So do conservatives believe government should have more power or less power to regulate Big Tech today?  I can never keep up.

Nice to see Meta stock pop big time after hours. I still wish Zuck would F off already as that stock will never start splitting as long as he is desperate to remain the majority holder, and I only bought a few shares right after the IPO in case they went on an Apple trajectory where original undiluted shares are worth quite a pretty penny.

It's not a totally done deal, and it's not the only suit the FTC is bringing, but the fact the the judges keep sending the FTC home to redo their homework and think about what they've done seems like a good sign for Meta.

Could be that they just don't really have a case, The hearing was closely watched in tech and legal circles as a key test of the FTC's authority under Khan to pursue alleged anticompetitive conduct using aggressive, largely untested legal theories.

Feels like allowing them to purchase this metaverse bullshiat company will prob do more damage to the company than any regulation or lawsuit could.

cool cool cool... so you want to burn dat stacks of cash on acquiring a company that will incentivize you to incinerate more cash because your bet on the metaverse is just redonk stupid, bruh. Yeah go nuts bruh. It'll shorten your futch, and make your sitch worse bruh.

Damn Trump's activist judges.

Wait...what's that? This judge is an Obama appointee from 2010 when the Democrats had a supermajority in the senate?

Huh.
