a lotta yall still dont get it
ape holders can use multiple slurp juices on a single ape
so if you have 1 astro ape and 3 slurp juices you can create 3 new apes
Tonight's slurp juice mint event is essentially a minting event for both Lab Monkes and Special Forces

Users who fell for the feat of social engineering and clicked through, attempting to mint through the fake links, had not only their entire cryptocurrency wallets drained, but many of their precious NFTs stolen. These included 74 Otherdeeds NFTs worth around $2,700 $0 each, three Porsche NFTs worth maybe $3,100$0, 57 Beanz NFTs at $2,600 $0, 12 Doodles NFTs at $10,600 $0, and 49 Pudgy Penguins worth $9,200 $0. Two Mutant Apes were also lost, which could sell for around $24,300 $0 at floor price

Okay.

I don't smell toast, but I feel the words I just read are a sign of a stroke.

I saw this on Web3isgoinggreat.  It's an NFT that was stolen:

$26,000 for a link to that.

Honestly, it's a lot better than the apes.  Print it on some nice canvas, frame it, add some mumbo-jumbo about liminal space and the texture of color and you could get some real dollars at a sale.

After all, this went for $51 million

It's a physical object, rather than a pointer to a URL that could get taken down at any time. And unlike typical NFTs, Mondrians are subtle. You have to see them in person, and look closely at them to have any hope of getting it. That said, the art market invented or previously employed many of the scams found in the NFT space.

How the fark did people actually fall for this? "Oh, I'm gonna mint this thing for you; I need your wallet address AND YOUR PASSWORD to do so..."  Sure, that's not shady at all...

I've heard this about Rothko.  It just looks like shapes and then you see the brush strokes up close and you see the energy and the rage.

I've seen a Jackson Pollack in person and it was the same thing.  The canvas has hairs and cigarette butts in it.  The whole thing is three dimensional.

It can't be coincidence that crypto enthusiasts are simultaneously the dumbest farks.

"This celebrity I like just said some new collector edition stamps are being released, I better pop down to their dodgy post office down a dark alleyway and give them the login details for my internet banking"
