DeLorenzo introduced herself as Campbell's "f-bomb slinging sidekick" Kelly Maxwell from "Ash vs. Evil Dead," but she wasn't exactly bragging. "Everyone knows that 'Evil Dead' was the start of Bruce's career," she said. "What I didn't know was that it would be the end of mine."

That man is a national goddamned treasure......

Was in a Starbucks a few weeks ago and overheard a barista being asked by a co-worker about upgrading an order.

"The order name was Chuck Finley.  These are my people. We take care of each other."

I like Bruce because it's obvious his public image is just that, his public image.  It's something he certainly keeps up for his career, but I honestly believe he keeps it going for his fans too.  The guy genuinely seems to appreciate his work and his life and enjoy them.

Which is freaking awesome and I wish more of us could find that.

Ted Raimi missing out on a chance to roast his former babysitter (read If Chins Could Kill) after breaking multiple toes sucks, but it gave Bruce a chance to roast him too from what I have heard about it. Sadly I couldn't watch it live.

We were there, and Nick the stand in was awesome, much as it sucked that Ted wasn't there. Dude had to make another gig so he ducked out a couple mins early and ran out of there IMPRESSIVELY fast for wearing those giant platform boots.

Word. He could have easily pulled a Jan Michael Vincent and crawled into the bottle while making crap no one would enjoy simply for the paycheck. Thanks for taking the high road instead, BC.

Ted would have broken more than his toes if he had to wear those boots, and speaking of breaking things Cassandra Peterson and Dana are breaking necks and/or hearts.

The part about supporting old theaters hiat me, because this last summer, here in Bruce Campbell's hometown, we had to watch the small local cinema get torn down to make way for more condominiums.

To be fair, I did see him at a screening of one of his indie films at that location several years back, but it'd be nice if more could've done to save it.

Just read the page for the event: ( https://sfsketchfest2023.sched.com/event/qEOq/the-sf-sketchfest-roast-of-bruce-campbell for those interested)

Due to scheduling conflicts, Jeffrey Combs, Sharon Gless, Kane Hodder and Jennifer Tilly will not be appearing. Kevin Pollak has been added.

Damn, but still, when can we purchase a copy of this video ?
