(UPI)   Australian snake swims clockwise goes UP a drain by mistake. Article says he's a cute, friendly snake, but that's easy to say if you're not sitting on the toilet involved   (upi.com) divider line

Is 'going up a drain' a horrible euphemism?

I call shenanigans. I find it hard to believe that finding a snake in your toilet in Australia is an "unusual situation"

Experimentally verified at neighbouring properties in outer-suburban Brisbane, here's how to tell if you're in a tourist trap in Queensland:

Look for signs in or near the public toilets. If they say "WATCH OUT FOR SNAKES IN THE BOWL!!!!111!!!", it's aimed at tourists, be sure to warn them the snakes are nothing next to the drop bears. If they say "please take care, there might be fragile natives frogs in the bowl", it's aimed at the locals. Wave hello and offer to buy them a Bundy as you pass them by.

I have the Bristol scale on a T-shirt. I wore it to my colonoscopy. Good times.

4 foot snake in a toilet is my 50 ft odd of grunt cover band. No crossover required :)

I saw a billboard in Bangkok for one way drain valve for your toilet to keep snakes out. Strange but I guess there's a market for it.
