But I do agree that playing nicey-nice with him minimizes the danger he poses, like when Rump was on Fallon and SNL, and Spicer on DWTS.

Nope. He possesses his own TV stuff, and has the power to thrust himself into the limelight. Kimmel isn't mocking Emperor Norton or a famous Times Square soapboxer, he's going after someone who insists, and has the power to be, in the political arena.

It might be punching down on the intellect level, but given the damage Lindell is capable of doing, he's fair game for anyone.

Smart move by Kimmel. Not for COVID purposes, but because the gimmick of the claw machine takes focus off of the fact that he's an amoral goblin giving a lying, treasonous dog airtime he absolutely does not deserve.

I watch Kimmel, Colbert and Seth Myers. Kimmel has a good monologue (probably thanks to his writers) but whenever he goes out on the street or interacts with other people, especially children, it's always death. This is no different.

And FFS, enough giving the pillow guy a voice. This is how it starts.

How much more does he need to be humiliated? The guy's a walking joke as it is. Just let him disappear.

I don't believe in the cliche "There's no publicity as bad publicity" but as ridiculous as Trump is, if the media didn't drool all over him in 2015, he would still be hosting The Apprentice (if that's still on).
