Playing as many as possible at the same time takes nothing away from the experience.

Seems like AI would have been pretty good at producing "live" streams of lofi hip hop, but that fad didn't last very long now did it?

Can it do anything other than Oonch! Ooonch! Oonch! Ooonch! ?

It sounds almost like music. It sounds like what a computer would think music is.

Okay, no snark. I like to listen to instrumental music while I work, but I have to constantly find new stuff because if it's a song I know, I find it kind of distracting. I think AI-generated music might actually have some realistic utility for me.

Brian Eno has had experiments with generative music for decades.

The r&b/hip hop piece with generated vocals is pretty fascinating.

Let's be real though. We haven't been in a situation where good music with a shred or originality was something you didn't have to look for for a long-ass time. I haven't heard anything new on public airwaves in a good 20 years.

So if it converges on anything besides Nickelback having a stroke, I'll consider it a win.

Wow...  That's already good enough for background music while I'm driving.

I put two earworms in my lady's head yesterday and they're still there. "Video killed the radio star" was one, "goody two shoes" was the other...

The "time to meditate" audio?

Yeah, no thanks. It sounds like a garbage truck driving through wind chimes.

Lol I still listen to lofi hip-hop streams. It's basically the same as Simpsons-wave/vaporware.
