As weird as it is they're using this guy for the cover, it shouldn't really matter.  I own the last three years of The Show and don't regret buying any of them.  I know Ohtani is on the cover of 22, couldn't tell you who's on the cover of the other two.  Cover doesn't matter, the content does.

Tatis was '21 from what I recall. But yeah, cover athlete is kind of pointless, especially considering a lot of sales are just downloads.
