Along those lines, I was with Mrs. Beef at her Northwestern class reunion a few years ago and chatting with some of her classmates. One in particular, a nice guy named Scott, looked at his ringing phone and said, "it's my aunt. She's not doing too well" and then excused himself to take the call. I found out his aunt died not too long after that.

His aunt: Penny Marshall.

He swore they were being cancelled, so the writer and the actress decided to do something dramatic.
Then they got renewed, which is why they brought her back.

Maybe there were. I can't remember. I had never watched "Scrubs" (beyond a part of an episode here-and-there) before earlier this year when I binged it.

"Scrubs" is an amazing show. Amazingly...blank. Pointless. It left no impression on my mind, and I can't really remember anything about it at all. I don't remember laughing, that's for sure.

In a sense, it's almost the perfect "background noise" show when you are doing something else. You can hear them talking, you can watch it, but you don't need to pay any attention because it won't matter. It will pass through your ears and eyes, and leave nothing behind.

Anyway, Cindy Williams was adorable. RIP.

I think Laverne & Shirley was in reruns by the time I saw it.  I saw American Graffiti not too long after that and it's still a favorite.  Always liked Cindy Williams too.

Somebody posted this on another site because of her passing. Out of curiosity I looked up a few familiar faces to see where they were now. First four I looked up all died at 75. Since my dad is nearing 75 I got a spooked and stopped searching. I know it was a just coincidence, but still...
