Goth iHop or the boring one?

$30 of food... which should require more than one person to eat, unless their prices really went sky high, for a ticket for one person.  Doesn't make sense.

Breakfast Sampler, which I really like, $17.03. I don't get the promo. It's not like IHOP makes good leftovers.

FWIW the spicy poblano omelette at my local ihop is pretty good. I wouldn't eat it every day, but once every couple weeks the family goes there, and that's what I get.

Sure it does. Give one ticket away almost guarantees a second ticket sold later. See: 2 for 1 specials.(advertising)

Headline made me reflect on all the money I've spent on coffee, food, and booth rental time at diners. Prefer the better ones, but spent way too much time in suburbia with a choice of IHOP, Denny's, or the good Denny's.

Wobambo: spent way too much time in suburbia hell with a choice of IHOP, Denny's, or the good Denny's.

All capital letters.  Apple doesn't own it.  It's IHOP.  The "i" stands for international.  They serve FRENCH toast and BELGIAN waffles.  Because they're fancy.  Stick that pinky out when you're cleaning the crust off your silverware wrapped in a paper napkin.

Did Michael Douglas put them up to this? Is the "Ancient IHOP Denizen" demographic that valuable?

My bad.  The marriage counselor said my relationship is missing spontaneity but rest assured that at your IHOP I left more than just a tip, not much more, mind you, let's be honest here.

It blows me away that people eat at IHOP like the uncultured animals they are. Everyone knows that for pure class, it's Olive Garden or nothing.

I don't think there's an IHOP within 75 miles of me anymore. We do have Denny's. I haven't been there since I was in my 20s and hanging around with my goth/postpunk gang of friends. We spent all night after clubbing sitting there, drinking coffee, talking, and flirting with each other. I almost had a threesome in a big booth at Denny's... That's how classy I was in my 20s.

I'll get my tickets the normal way, I guess. The Fandango App. And pay extra for the privilege, too. Stupid "Access fees". . .

Spend $30 at IHOP?!

I don't think I've been to a IHOP in at least 40, maybe even 50 years. When I was a kid, mom and dad took us to one at least once a week for a few years, IIRC. Mom always got the Denver Omelet, dad got pigs in the blanket and I got the silver dollar pancakes, alternating between the regular buttermilk ones and the ones with chocolate chips. My sister hated going there and I have no recollection what she ate. I don't recall if I ever went there as an adult, but I do remember going to Perkins a lot when I was married to my first wife.

The last time I ate at a Denny's, which was maybe 20 years ago, godalmighty I got sick...I mean, in the bathroom for half a day sick.

Not after OG lied to all of us about being our real family.

I don't get the concept of a super hero (or villain) that can be taken down with a $5 can of pesticide.

You realize you can buy tickets? Go buy $30 of food, and you buy one fewer ticket than you otherwise would have. Or eat there twice and get two tickets.

In my case, I nearly always go to the movies alone.

anyone recall the days when you were just excited for the next marvel movie and they didn't need promotional gimmicks like this chit to get people into the theaters?

I'm well done wiht it all now that it's clearly just treated as the self assembling production line of content.

the whole shebang up top end game was an amazing feat of movie entertainment to achieve.
too bad they didn't catch that particular episode of Stanfield to learn when you're supposed to exit the stage and be done, rather than try to keep it going.

IHOP has food? I thought it was a place for dealing and shooting drugs. That's what was happening the last time I visited an IHOP anyway.
