I think at most he might, maybe, be changed with some technicality crime where he'll get some kind of fine and probation, but no real consequences.

Sitting in the Library and just witnessed a wholesome interaction between two strangers. One man had a loaf of bread out on his table (I'm in the section of the Library where food and drink is allowed because I have a matcha drink). Another man was walking by and stopped and said, "Whoa! Is that [Brand] cinnamon-swirl bread?! That stuff is so good!" They had a brief discussion about how good the cinnamon bread was, especially if you toast it just a little and melt some butter on top, it was making me hungry. I was already going to stop by the grocery on the way home soon, maybe I will check if they have cinnamon-swirl bread...
