The BK app has good deals such as the two chicken sandwiches and two small fries for $5. Breakfast had two coffees ,two hash browns and two sausage egg sandwiches. They were
there for years.
They have just pushed all their prices significantly higher.
That same deal is now $8
I haven't been there since they raised the prices.

FTFA:

5. Dunkin (they have a good grilled cheese on their All Day Bites menu, apparently)
4. Wendy's
3. McDonald's
2. BK
1. Taco Bell

Would rather go to Subway and spend a few more bucks, TBH.

Uber Eats has ruined me. There's a place I can get homemade biscuit sandwiches AND donuts.

I miss the days of being able to get a plate of teriyaki that was almost too much food to eat for $5. The last nearly as good deal was the pre-pandemic Spicy Chicken Special at Sapporo Teriyaki.

I don't really eat fast food. But about once a week, I'll go to the McD's drive through for a cup of coffee. It had been $1 ($1.08 after tax). Recently, it went to $1.59. Still less than 50% of Starbucks or other coffee-only chains. So I still get a large black coffee at McD's sometimes.

But it drives me crazy that every time I go, the same recorded voice asks "Welcome to McDonald's. Will you be using your McDonald's rewards today?"

No! I don't know why it drives me crazy. But it does. Every time. For about 10 seconds. Then I get busy trying to count out exact change from my change-holder, and I forget why I was so angry in the first place.

You're boycotting a food chain because they charge the unholy sum of $8 for two meals in the year 2023?

Is there anywhere you can eat?

These deals are usually sandwich, plus fries (starch and fat filler) plus soda (sugar filler).

I usually go for the McDonald's Twofer Deal and get two McDoubles for $3.50.
Too much fat and sodium, but decent protein and plenty calories to make a meal.

Screw the rest of that stuff.

BK has 16 nuggets for $3. Use the app and a large fries is $1. BK should be number one.

Taco Bell is great for getting a 5 pound bag of food for less than 5 bucks.  Best bet is to just dump it all into the toilet and skip the middleman tho.

Have you time traveled here from like 1994 or something?

In other news, this Carl's Jr receipt from last week is hilarious.

I understand why he rules out Taco John's due to its "limited national presence", but then he includes Dunkin'?  He must not have traveled much in the northern states west of the Mississippi.

With coupons, Subway is ok price wise.  Without, I'd rather go to the local sub place.

BK tastes like ass.  So the there's that.

Taco Bell used to be disgusting, but has improved enough they're worth using when you need a REALLY cheap meal.

McD has good App deals, but honestly their breakfasts, fries, shakes and a fresh made Quarter Pounders are the only stuff worth eating there.

I think most of the footlong Subway crap is around 9 bucks in my area.

Subby manages both an oxymoron and repeating themselves in 7 words. That would be impressive if it was intentional.
