For the whataboutists keeping score.
The Democratic president got free blowjobs, the Republican had to pay for them.

Didn't the Enquirer have a deal with Trump-related stories?

It was called "Catch and Kill" where anything that would be bad for Trump they would feign interest in, get people to sign exclusivity agreements and then never publish the story and in return Trump would pay the Enquirer for it?

Well, technically, Trump had Cohen pay them for it... If I remember right, Cohen even took out a Home Equity loan at one point to pay for one of these.  Then Cohen went to jail.

With fewer than two weeks to go before the election, Cohen had failed to either execute the agreement immediately or pay Daniels so she threatened to take her story to another publication.

A multi-billionaire in a tight race for President of the United States but you're too stupid or too greedy to pay out the basic biatch hush money of $130K has to be a Hall of Fame self own.

I knew a guy in college whose name is John and his last name sounded enough like "bananas" that I called him Johnny Bananas for YEARS.

That pillow jackass is no Johnny Bananas, and I'll thank you not to sully the good Bananas name.

// when I congratulated him on getting his PhD, he goes "that's DOCTOR Johnny Bananas, to you!"
// good guy

I would have been happier had I never heard about this story ever again. However, it did indirectly cause this amusing exchange on the Grand Tour, so that's something I guess..

Why the f*ck would anyone sign an exclusivity agreement with the Enquirer? I feel like it says a lot about what evidence they had.

Funny as hell that he called her Horseface considering that he compared her to the ugly daughter that he is desperate to fark. Or already did when she wasn't able to resist his flabby moves.

Karen McDougal signed the exclusivity agreement. She was supposed to get a column in one of the other publications that the parent company (American Media Inc) of the National Enquirer owned. They didn't follow through until the whole story became public and then they gave her an article on her exercise and diet routine in Men's Health.

David Pecker, the former head of the company that publishes the National Enquirer, is expected to meet with Manhattan prosecutors investigating former President Donald Trump, people familiar with the matter said, indicating the probe is escalating.

Well, that escalated slowly.

This post refers to a second Donald Trump mistress, Karen McDougal, who was Playboy Playmate of the Year in 1998. If these stories had appeared right before the very close 2016 election, Trump might have been defeated.

Trump directly paid off Stormy Daniels through Michael Cohen.  (We saw the check). In the case of Ms. McDougal, Trump's friend David Pecker protected him. Pecker was CEO of the National Enquirer, which had a process he called "catch and kill," to bury unwanted publicity. Pecker contracted with McDougal for exclusive rights to her story, then never ran it.
