P Trump: Gives a Fark you when discovering he had classified documents.

Whether you disagree or not with Pence or Biden, they are both honorable men who at least follow the law in regards to their roles as VP. Trump doesn't give a shiat.

Biden isn't Trump. Media can do their best to make us outraged because during Trump's Presidency actual outrages gave them good ratings. But the American people see thru this Biden-bashing bullshiat.

Well the right wing that hate him and the centrists who blame him for things out of his control already disapproved of him, so the only potential loss at this point would be from the Democrat loyalist base. This issue doesn't matter to them, so his already low approval ratings stay where they are. Not exactly surprising.

Yes yes.  Shocking I know, for POTUS to have classified documents.
Given #45's prolific use of "executive privilege", the short news cycle, and the fact that he has almost two years left in this term, ain't nothin gonna happen.
Biden also didn't sell those secrets to hostile foreign governments who then murdered invaluable CIA informants.  Because that would be bad, amirite journalists?

Maybe because the Press is mainly just a rubber stamp for their corporate overlords and their quarterly profit earnings.

When the Press is free of the yolk of advertising dollars for the publicly traded companies that own the Press, or a grift that coincides with it, then the Press will actually be free.

It's better all round that Biden forget a few documents at home because if he had returned them to the Arcjives Trump would own them by now. What he doesn't know can't be used to threaten his critics and accessories before or after the fact, not to mention during the thefts of national military secrets and other valuable souviniers of his time in the services of the Saudis, UAE, Russians, Chinese, Norks and so forth.

Of course his approval ratings haven't changed, the only people condemning Biden for this already hated him and were just looking for an excuse.  Anybody with an ounce of sense can see that people take work home (especially during the pandemic) and that Biden has cooperated fully.  That's not the issue.

The problem is that it kills the possibility that Trump will receive anything resembling punishment for his own bad behavior because, even though there's a huge difference between "taking work home" and "stuffing boxes full of proprietary info before you're fired", the two look close enough to the general public that the DoJ will be paranoid about looking politically-motivated.  They were hesitant enough about pursuing Trump as it was, the false equivalency means there's effectively no chance of any action.

The whataboutism is just a quick and easy mental shortcut for Trump supporters to stamp out any nagging feeling, that maybe, just maybe, Trump did something wrong.  Then they can just return to their reality bubble, protected by an immovable defense of "Biden did it too!"

I don't like him. He's shiat at policy. I think his religious beliefs are a ball of wicked and he's way too willing to impose those beliefs on others. His stunted social development has twisted his views regarding women to a level of juvenile in which I'm still in awe. But I don't think Pence is guilty of actual criming. If he is, I missed it.

Um, lets not compare the 2 situations. One was an accident. One was clearly Trump knowingly stealing the documents and at the least was showing them to people to impress them, hopefully, that is all he did.
