So if your house was burning down, do you take the emergency exit, or do you try running back through the burning house?  I honestly am not sure at this point.

I have an old (what looks like) magazine illustration.  A mama bear and her two cubs are raiding a campsite; the camper is in the background, a safe distance away. Food packages are scattered around and Mama's got a package of uncooked bacon in her mouth.  The bears are all frozen in their tracks, and all are eyeballing an inquisitive little skunk who's wandered onto the site.

So I guess the moral is: Always carry a friendly little skunk with you.
