FTFA:Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said on Sunday that the federal government should not take any action after the death of Tyre Nichols because, according to him, there is no "law that can stop that evil."

Fark that Nazi bullshiat doublespeak. 🤬🤬🤬

State murder charges are an excellent start. Federal civil rights charges are an effective follow up. Passing federal laws to reduce these horrific crimes committed by local, state & federal law enforcement remain the best actions.

I've been wrestling with that question. It's hard to pin down.

He knows nothing! Nothing!

2023-01-29 1:22:40 PM
He's the hook for the truly batshiat (as opposed to the merely cynical and evil).

2023-01-29 1:28:30 PM
To look the other way just as hard as he can?

2023-01-29 1:30:21 PM
All of the bullshiat that could be bullshiatted about holding police responsible for their actions and Jordan comes up with NOTHING? I understand why he knows nothing about respect for human life and all, but gee, he is paid to invent bullshiat blaming the Democrats.

We don't have good people applying to be one police officers because American citizens are telling them to stop killing people.

Did I get that right?

Man, f*ck you.

2023-01-29 1:43:58 PM
Maybe good people aren't applying to be police officers because of the notoriously toxic reputation of police departments and they want nothing to do with it? Just a thought, Jim.

Without both state and federal convictions (and let's be clear, each is unlikely) the chances of a pardon making it all go away are just too high.

Stop cops from killing people? Why would we do that? It's "those" people getting killed so it's not a big deal and it kind of reminds everyone of their place, so we're good letting this continue.

Well you do have to admit, if there is anyone who knows that evil can't be stopped, it's Gym Jordan.

there, that's the one.

That's the same bullshiat excuse they give for not "regulating" the "militia."

Except the stated purpose of guns in private hands is supposed to be preventing excesses by a tyrannical government. Yet, if a group of armed people had gotten the drop on the cops, and rescued Tyré Nichols (not necessarily firing at the cops), that would likely be seen as felony obstruction of justice (or whatever the equivalent charge is in Tennessee).

The GQP should be denouncing the death of Nichols for what it is (among other things): State-supported murder by an overreaching government.

Ah, yes, the typical Republican response: we can't solve a problem 100%, so let's do nothing.

2023-01-29 4:15:34 PM
I was about to suggest that he planned to repeal the laws against treason on that grounds, but decided with the current GOP that it's not funny.

We already knew that racism was more important to the GOP than their stated principles when they said nothing about Philando Castille's murder for a year, and then said it was ok because he had smoked marijuana.

Jordan only called out the cops viciousness for one reason: they are Black. It was a safe move by Gym to make

himself look humane and normal.

He also claimed there are not enough "good people" applying to be officers, putting the blame on the "defund the police" movement as a reason why.

I've just been assuming the GOP keeps him around in case they need to be able to claim to be investigating some sexual assault while not being at risk of the investigator actually finding anything at all.

Yes, too many shiatty people join the police. But maybe a lot more training would mean less of them do so?

To look the other way while his buddies rape America, like he did when he worked at OSU and his buddies molested college kids, most likely.

Human farking garbage. The world will be a cleaner place when he strokes out and dies.
