FTFA:Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said on Sunday that the federal government should not take any action after the death of Tyre Nichols because, according to him, there is no "law that can stop that evil."

Fark that Nazi bullshiat doublespeak. 🤬🤬🤬

State murder charges are an excellent start. Federal civil rights charges are an effective follow up. Passing federal laws to reduce these horrific crimes committed by local, state & federal law enforcement remain the best actions.

Without both state and federal convictions (and let's be clear, each is unlikely) the chances of a pardon making it all go away are just too high.

That's the same bullshiat excuse they give for not "regulating" the "militia."

Except the stated purpose of guns in private hands is supposed to be preventing excesses by a tyrannical government. Yet, if a group of armed people had gotten the drop on the cops, and rescued Tyré Nichols (not necessarily firing at the cops), that would likely be seen as felony obstruction of justice (or whatever the equivalent charge is in Tennessee).

The GQP should be denouncing the death of Nichols for what it is (among other things): State-supported murder by an overreaching government.

We already knew that racism was more important to the GOP than their stated principles when they said nothing about Philando Castille's murder for a year, and then said it was ok because he had smoked marijuana.
