I have one recipe I do constantly, because its so easy.

- Freshly boiled pasta
- Some olive oil
- Generous amount of freshly ground pepper
- Generous amount of real grated dry cheese

And that's it. Yum.

The knorr veggie bullion is what I deglaze the roasting pan with for my gravy. Just made a batch tonight.

/not to be confused with "mixed a batch"

With a farkton of olive oil and garlic?

Pasta with easy sauce isn't really something I go to when I want a quick meal.

Fried rice, or migas, or a split lentil dish are more what I turn to. They all dirty fewer pans, and the first 2 are faster than pasta anyway.

Roasted chicken "flavored".  Your mom is also roasted chicken "flavored", but that doesn't mean that's something I would want to eat.

No.

They're not Chefs.

It's not a bad channel.   I've seen it before.  But approach it as amateurs playing around.

The gist is the wife is Italian, SUPER-Italian, married to some rando American guy.  He (predictably) often plays ignorant on what makes food good, and she (predictably, if not inaccurately) is disdainful of American food, especially Americanized Italian food.   Occasionally she'll be nice about other international cuisines.

I find the pasta-roni boxes worth the extra cost.  I've quit buying Knorr pasta bags.

My whole childhood the box of vermicelli had a recipe for the noodles with butter.
All I can say is I tired it once. It was a waste of 25 cents.

Deglaze and add flour.  No one needs that
