The plural of anecdote is not data. Of course Kids Today haven't stopped having sex completely.

There is plenty of evidence that as a group, though, they're having less casual sex, and indulging less often in other risky behaviours (not to say "vices") such as drinking alcohol.

And good for them.

It's easy to relate to a lot of people. Spending more than a couple hours with someone who is at a significant age gap is pretty torturous. After a certain point, you're only nodding along to their stories.

Honestly, after a wide enough age gap I feel like a creep, putting my creepy old raisin-hands on the young and innocent. I don't think I had an epiphany at 30, but 25 is still too young.

I have a friend in her early 60s that finds Alex Turner of Arctic Monkeys painfully attractive. And to be honest, if I were following Wolf Alice when I was a teenager 40 years ago, I'd be blind by now. Ellie Rowsell is beautiful.

Be with someone that young? Sure, for a few days, perhaps. Why not? Long-term? I doubt that.

Heck. When my mother was still alive (she passed at 97), I would frequently pick up DVDs to watch with her when I visited. One of the last movies we enjoyed together was "Allied," a WWII-era romance/drama starring Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard. She was unfamiliar with the title, but when she asked me who was in it and I replied, "Brad Pitt," my 94 yr.-old mother (at the time), breathed in and exhaled, "Oooh, I love Brad Pitt!"
