If you really want problems to start going away hold parents accountable and I don't just mean when the kids are considered a minor, hold parents accountable for their children's behavior it should be unacceptable for parents to not have to teach their children some basic morals and manners. Problem is no one's teaching just breeding.

The sentences and plea deals for men who hurt women are crap.  I believe people can change and grow but the reoffending and escalating of abusers and rapists is making me think it should be just life in prison first offense.

I haven't.  Rapist died of natural causes. Step dad as well. Moms still alive.  She blamed me for it. LOL.  A nine year old should know better.   Happiest day of my life will be when either her or me dies. Either way I'm fine with. Was in jail once overnight ( charges dropped) not a pleasant experience. Wouldn't wish iat on anyone. Nature will fix the problem soon enough.

You should probably seek therapy for that.  There are plenty of shiatty 19 year old parents, and plenty of shiaty 25 year old parents and plenty of shiaty 39 year old parents.  I've seen them all in the 20 years I've been an attorney doing abuse, neglect and dependency cases.  Drugs are involved in 90% of all the cases I've seen.  Mental Health issues are involved in at least 50% of the cases.  Maybe if we actually cared about kids, we'd try to address those issues better.

Piece of advice if you're ever taken to jail.  Don't use the restrooms even if you have to go.   They might lock you in there for hours.  That's what happened to me in Texas   Say they do it all the time   It's a game to them

You should probably seek therapy for that.  There are plenty of shiatty 19 year old parents, and plenty of shiaty 25 year old parents and plenty of shiaty 39 year old parents.  I've seen them all in the 20 years I've been an attorney doing abuse, neglect and dependency cases.  Drugs are involved in 90% of all the cases I've seen.  Mental Health issues are involved in at least 50% of the cases.  Maybe if we actually cared about kids, we'd try to address those issues better.


I did.  You know what selective memory is then right?  I chose to have a very sh#tty long term memory.  Tried getting help.  Nothing there.  Lol my minds tabula rasa. ( blank slate).  Sometimes it's your only form of defense.   About a year after this happened I could still see his face in the dark.  Rape destroys lives.

My mom was. By her brother incest.   My grandmother just told her ignore it and didn't believe her.  Very helpful at destroying her life as well.
