I love Rush and I was completely on board for their beer (though I live in a rural hellhole so I haven't been able to source any) but mustard might be pushing it.

A friend from Canada turned me onto Rush decades ago, so I was excited to try Rush beer on a business trip up there back in 21.

I was happy that it tasted great, but unhappy that it seemed impossible to ship to the US.  Was gonna send a case to my friend.  He was, at least, green with envy that I had some.

Not a mustard guy, but will see if I can get some.

I ordered a bottle of the mustard a bit ago.  I'm going to ask my favorite liquor store if they can get the beer.  I already have the Geddy Lee Jazz Bass.  I'm tempted to buy the Paragons but $3900 is a huge investment in cymbals.

Rush may be boomers, but I think it's pretty safe to say their primary appeal is Gen X, who grew up with their music.

Boomers grew up listening to the Beatles and shiat.

Yeah, disgusting. Pork loin is trash meat though, so this makes sense.

Celebrity booze is the dumbest trend. They have nothing to do with the product.
I have nothing against Rush, but why would them having an official Beer make the product more appealing?
Same goes for the rest.
I remember hearing some A list star (thinking it was Clooney or Pitt) talk about how they wanted to have the best tequila in the world so they travelled around Mexico until they found their favourite producer and... bought the company.
But then there are folks like Dan Aykroyd who have mass produced (and phenomenally cheap) spirits imported and then stuck in a bottle in a government owned bottling plant and then... boom, boutique vodka everyone!

My first day as an hvac apprentice, get in the van and my new boss said "you like rush?"

"Sure they're ok"

Gives me a weird look. Then he turns the radio to Rush Limbaugh.

A lesson was learned that day, Would try their mustard though, but I love mustard.
