somebody (zimmern?) did an in-country piece on that a while back. intriguing and I'll admit to being curious enough that I'd try it given the chance.

Hydrocarbons are hydrocarbons as far as the cooking flames are concerned, the rotten shark meat though I would take a pass on.

Can confirm it's excellent.

The shark is interesting and tastes like a very ripe Brie rind with an ammonia component to it.  Being a strong base, it's great for acid reflux.  Chasing it with a shot of Brennevin is mandatory.  It's a caraway flavored liquor.
