Which means they're trading for Aaron Rogers.  Denver hired him with the assumption they could trade for Rogers.

So Denver is going to trade Number Three to the Jests?

Hackett being with the Jets makes the possibility of an Aaron Rodgers trade to the Jets much more plausible and a little bit more probable.

Hackett worked with Jets head coach Robert Saleh when the two were members of Doug Marrone's Jacksonville staff from 2015 to 2016.

The biggest question is what it means for the Jets' potential pursuit of Aaron Rodgers, who spent three seasons with Hackett in Green Bay.

The NY Press will feast on him.

I guess stubby forgot what he did before the Denver gig, and how successful he was at it.

Hackett trifecta in play.  But I bet he won't hack it.

@minakimes

Offensive DVOA under Hackett a OC, pre-GB (fixed one year):
BUF 13-14: 25th
JAX 16-17 (promoted midseason): 27th
JAX 17-18: 15th
JAX 18 (fired in November): 30th

And considering how Rodgers looked this season, I don't think he's going to help Hackett either.

He works wonders with veteran quarterbacks.

They said Rodgers was going to Denver when Hackett got hired there too. I'll believe that dipshiat will be out of my town when I see it at this point. Although, there was an actual Jets fan at work today and he was actually hoping the Jets would give 2 first rounders. Maybe I can dream...

As a side note, Paul Hackett is a cool person and a talented and creative Offensive Coordinator. He shares some blame for what went down in Denver and he probably blew any chance to be a head coach again for at least ten years*, but that was a shiat show top to bottom.

*Unless he's up against a black interim coach who did a good job.

Oh, I literally watched him do his thing in Buffalo, it was a disaster.
