I found that far more troubling than this post, which is incoherent nonsense.  I have no idea what he's saying there.

But flashing a white power sign as you are sworn into Congress? I understand that loud and clear.

Segal also pointed out that what seems to be Santos' suggestion that only Jewish and Black people would be offended by Nazi and Hitler jokes adds another problematic layer to his comments.

In March 2011, Santos commented on a photo shared by a Facebook friend which shows someone making what appears to be a military salute with the caption "something like Hitler." In his comment, Santos writes [sic]:

The same New York City gave us Trump. We know who the Republicans are. There was a local newspaper that broke the story before the election, and the local voters admit they ignored it, which was a choice they made knowing that local newspapers report on important election details. The NYT, a bigger NYC newspaper, also ignored the local newspaper entirely, which is verification that is how New Yorkers operate: by choosing to even engage with salient information about their own choices.

They chose Santos with all the information they needed to make their decision. How they decide was certainly unfortunate for the rest of the USA, and maybe the world's economy. But there is no getting around the fact New Yorkers voted exactly as they chose, fully informed that last time they got the liar Donald Trump. We cannot take seriously any attempt to reject Santos because of his lies.

NYC is getting what it wants, once again. Frankly, what is unsual is that the voters who voted for him are being given the sympathy for their claims of being decieved. They were not. They voted as they have in the past.

This is why I could never run for office. Too much dirt in my past that people could dredge up. I'm not even on social media but there are too many people who could tell stories about drunken binges and jokes that were in poor taste (even if they were funny at the time.)

Well, he does know his base pretty well, and it's on brand for wanting their vote.

I'd feel bad for him and this incessant need to for attention, even bad attention at this point, if he wasn't in Congress and seated there in order to deliver votes for terrible humans. I can only imagine how ignored and forlorn he was to turn THIS hard to attention getting. At least TFG managed to parlay his crippling need for affirmation into a brand and found his audience. Santos is just riffing in order to find someone, anyone really, to give him some sort of validation. He has backed himself into a corner to be a victim, and all he's doing is just digging a hole into that corner, and I don't think he's even going to consider trying to dig up.

Great. Now I feel sorry for this toad of a liar. Not that I think he deserves any sort of sympathy, save the inherent compassion for all things THIS deeply in pain.

I also suspect that eventually he's going to be found out to have lived as a straight man, and fathered three kids who are honors students, with a wife who was a member of the Jaycees when they started admitting women, and that he's essentially gay for pay.

I'd venture that he ought not to try that out. He might run into some Black or Jewish individual who "prescribes" towards the right wing mantra of self defense that his party supposedly champions.

I've done stupid things while drunk. I've made bad jokes while drunk. And sober. I've never made a joke that includes writing kill a certain ethnic or religious group.

Well there is always the Second Amendment solution that Republicans like to talk about, but never seem to pull off. (I am not serious this is sarcasm do not shoot the Con Artist who might be named George Santos)
