I saw one security video where they had one hanging out of a Honda sedan and just drove away door half open. Spread spectrum Cellphone jammer though, way easier than trying to short the board out with water. Although there's not a lot of cash in those private quickie mart ATMs, I have a buddy who owns a few. Not worth the jail time for your avg hoodlum. So these are usually special people.

I own several atm machines and every one is bolted in to the concrete floor with 4 massive bolts only accessible from inside the atm where the cash is stored, I'm guessing this atm was not properly installed.
Nobody is getting to the cash through that door, it's very heavy and thick and has 4 or 6 steel bars that go into the frame.
If one were to try to get into an atm the back or bottom is the way to go but then your dealing with the electronics in the way... the actual part that holds the cash is just plastic

It needs to go in the water BEFORE you take it to where you want to go. These guys aren't that smart. They'd drive it to their house, put it in in a water tank, and then wonder why the cops showed up two hours later.

I don't think this particular machine carried much cash. If you watch the video closely it looks like there was a security cable attached to it, but that was it. Otherwise, freestanding ATM.

Drill a 1/2" hole in the bottom of the frame rails just in front of the rear control arm brackets, and hit with spray paint.  90% of frame rot is water trapped in that bend.

/'04 5sp Rubi in the northeast, that I will never be able to replace if it rots out.

Seriously though that is good advice, it's flawed to not have a drain hole at the low point.
