Meh. Of all the things to get pissy about this is one of them, I guess. Congresscritters are always passing out tchotchkes of one form or another from their districts. It's just his district must not have anything really interesting, so he has to settle for passing out some dum-dum grenades. Personally I would probably find the representatives from Kentucky and Tennessee the most popular if they handed out bottles of their districts finest.

Passing out grenades for a "mission-oriented" congress...? Grenades aren't exactly known for their incredible tenacity to carefully pick and choose what they effect, they're designed to (basically literally) make the insides of whatever they're around suddenly become the outsides. They're designed to fark shiat up en masse, without a care in the world for what got farked up by them.

This alone should give you an idea of the exact mindset of the GQP. Screw trying to pull everyone together, they're here to blow everything to shiat.

He couldn't be bothered to read to the bottom of the letter to find it was an inert round.
