(ESPN)   For the second straight year, Nathaniel "Can't" Hackett serves as the bait trying to lure big fish Aaron Rodgers. This time the unfortunate angler is the New York Jets   (espn.com) divider line

I'd say such a dumb move surprises me but it's the Jets.

Are they going to hire Kingsbury too?

Speaking as a Jets fan, it would ALMOST be worth watching the Jets crash and burn again if it meant watching A. A. Ron suffer with them.

Hackett was such a brilliant coach at Denver, a real genius in offensive playcalling who needed a person solely dedicated to telling him how much time was left on the play clock. He truly got Russell Wilson to break records as QB. I'm sure the Jets will get a scorching 16 points per game next season.

Woody Johnson was a hefty donor and an ambassador for TFG so it might actually work in his favor for once.

To reiterate what I posted a week or so ago:

An aging future HOF quarterback, who once had an amiable public persona but is now known to be an asshole, joining the Jets after a couple of years of dicking around the Packers with retirement rumors while his backup, a few years removed from being a late first-round pick, waits to see if he will get his turn?

Nah, that never happens.

At least we can assume A-A-ron is smart enough to not send random reporters dick pics and ruin their career.

For the low price of 2 1st round picks, a 3rd round pick you can have him NYJ. We will even cover $10million of his yearly salary just because we like you.

//A.A.Ron is the best QB ever for our team

Who knows. Hackett was a disaster at Head Coach but he could be an ample coordinator. Peter Principle and all that.
